I am thinking of this tank for my desk at work. I saw on another forum that some people thought it was loud. I want to know from anyone who has set it up if it would work fine on my desk (and straight out of the box without any adjustments.) I plan on putting some live rock in it and a clown, not sure if I want to make it a "true" mini-reef, as much as just a saltwater tank.
Looking for any experience.
thanks :?

I know of a couple people have the Azoo mini tank. They seem to like it, never mentioned that it was noisy. But it also depends on what noise level you are used to in your office. The noise may be coming from the water flow. and that can be fixed a couple of ways.
What price are you seeing for the tank?

Petwarehouse has it priced at $80.
Aquatic-Eco Systems has it at $100, but I heard they will match prices and they advertise a lot more to their kit.

Also,
Would two clowns be too much for this tank?

Is this going to be a nemo Tank?
What else do you plan on adding to it? (live rock, sand, corals)

No, no, no. Nemo has nothing to do with it!
I had a 52 gallon flatback-hex saltwater tank a several years ago, but sold it because I was moving around a lot. I have always wanted another tank and I have always enjoyed clowns. I just moved again and a friend started a nano tank and perked my interest. With two little kids at home, I don't want another large tank, I have enough to take care of...a small tank on my desk would be just about right. Plus, we have a bird at home and we went to local pet store here and I saw the ViaAqua 10 gallon tank, that also got me interested and during my research, I came across the Azoo, which looks as if it would work right out of the box!
Anyway, nothing to do with Nemo.

PS.
I plan on starting with some live sand and live rock. Then maybe a couple of bottom dwellers to clean the sand. Not sure how much more I would get into, other than two clowns...if they would fit in the tank.
