^that sucks, I have a question about Reef Crystals though, Does your guys' and gals' water smell like vitamins when you use reef crystals? I recently switched from Instant Ocean to reef crystals, and all seems good, except for the smell of vitamins...I guess its just the added minerals, I was just making sure everyones smelled the same...Thanks

I use RC and haven't noticed that. I'll be mixing some in a few days and I'll pay closer attention to the smell and let you know. Is it just when you're mixing it up or after it's been in the bucket for a while (or is the smell in the tank)?

I just mixed some up a few min ago and I guess I smell what you smell. Kinda like vitamins(maybe Vitamin B), but more like salt.
