nano refugium

Im starting a 10 gallon nano reef. And am wondering if anyone knows how to make a sump for it. could I use the over the side plumbing at drsfostesmith.com. And have that drain to a five and a half gallon aquarium. And light it and put some live sand, live rock, and macro algae.
But what kind of return pump could I use???

I garuntee you will find everything you ever wanted to know about fuge's for nano-reefs. I am doing the same type of research myself for my 10 gallon nano.
