You must set the ad_network_ads_240.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

I have had mcafee for years now I rarley have trouble but when I do it tends to be a catastrophe and I have to reinstall windows this is the third time in six years so I cant complain.

Cool. What anitvirus program are you using?

I use ESET NOD32 antivirus/antispyware/firewall on my Windows system. It's top rated, I highly recommend it.
