Yes aquarium shop is a great place, i am going to get all my livestock from them but I will definitely get my hardware from Aquamain's, they have a good deal going on. I have not decided on the LR but things are looking good for Aquarium shop since he has already cut me a deal and said he would go lower. ALREADY HAS SOME GOOD CORALINE ON IT!

Yeah I got most of my rock FIGI from th Aquarium shop and a few pieces of Marhsall Island from Aquamain and the stuff from the aquarium shop is loaded with coraline already, check out the pic below. And the stuff is also cured very well no major spikes when I add it to my tank.

I live about 10 minutes from g-Boro. We should get together sometime and trade "war stories". You guys are welcome to come over to my house anytime. As far as aquamains I really don't even like going there anymore, place has taken a turn for the worse, I talked with Jeion (John) at Aquarium shop a month or so ago and he said that they have purchased a new place in Raliegh and it will be opening in a couple months.

Yes, he is hard to understand but seems like a great guy. I love the idea of splitting the order, but since I have a pretty paranoid mom i dont think she will let me do the whole meeting up with some guy at the LFS. Have to keep talking and trying to make her cave in....I like the fact there is more than one person near me that is online. There are millions of people and only 3 are in forums...ARG! G2G to school and earn my tank....

PS If you dont mind my asking do you live in the downtown area or in the sedgefeild Jamestown area.

FYI...

Aquamains in GBoro is NOT where you want to get your hardware or most things for that matter (imo). I used to deal with them for a cpl of years because I was kind of forced into it due to lack of other local options. However about a year ago a small LFS opened in Kernersville called "Aquarium Center of NC" (336 993-9934), and I go down to Aquamains rarely anymore!

I do not work for either store nor have I, so this is no official plug! I do know I have saved myself alot of $$ by switching stores. Money saved via not wasted on unhealthy fish/corals & overpriced supplies. The Kvill LFS is small but they are very knowledgable & Chris who runs the store used to help run Amains a while back.

Check em out, your wallet will love ya for it! They also get their new shipments in on Tuesday and are closed tuesdays for restocking.
