Is there anybody out there who currently is having success with any Angelfish(besides pigmys) in their reef? I know its a huge gamble, but I'd just like to hear some rare success stories.

I don't think your going to find too many positive posts on the topic. It will also depend greatly on the types of corals kept.
I had a koran in my reef tank for about 2 years without a hitch and then one day started eating every little bud polyp it could find. Hence no more koran. They are a risk and may not have the same result all the time, but will a majority of it.

If you want an angel for a reef tank you need to look into the dwarfs. I have had both a Flame and a Bicolor, and both have been perfectly fine even with many of my polyps. Still, you need to be careful and be ready to remove the fish if he starts damaging your corals.
