A couple of weeks ago, my son took some spaghetti algae from his tank (which includes a mated pair of watchman gobies) and decided he was going to try to propagate it in a plastic tub. He puts in some live sand from my tank and crushes up some Cyclops and some Marine Two and puts it in. He sets a compact fluorescent over it. After a week or so, he checks the tub, only to find over 20 dots moving around. This week, they have begun to look more like tiny fish with a magnifying glass. How long might it be before we know if we have watchman fry?
