View Full Version : POTM ideas
Ok peeps here's your chance to let us know what themes/categories you would like to see for future POTM contests. I have to give a big thanks to stevo4535 for prompting this post. We have already done Reef Safe fish, LPS, Acropora, General Fish, Zoos, Euphyllias. Not to say that those categories can't be whittled down to a more specific topic...but lets hear what you guys want to see.
Here are some ideas, but please add yours to the list....
Full tank shots
Refugium shots
Actinic shots
Moon Light shots
Inverts
Anemones
Growth shots (stevos4535's idea)
The list is endless so please help us help you :)

How about a "feeding" shot or if you have a predator maybe a "hunting" shot. I could get a nice pic of my red coris eating one of my snails. lol

Weird salt creep pics? You crack me up!!! LOL
Here's a few of my ideas, however cheesy they may be...
AquaPod/Nano pics
Slimy Critter pics (snails, nudi's, etc...)
Pod pics (good luck on these...)
Meanest Hermit Crab pics (I could win this one if I still had my a-holes)
Cleaner fish/shrimp pics (while they're cleaning)
Rarest coral/fish/invert/etc...

Glen I think it was a sign that your tank has been possesed by the devil and he has concealed himself as Henry the Harlequin shrimp

I like the idea of cleaner crew shots.....any type of cleaner like a shrimp, crab, snail, cucumber, etc. Might be cool to see some rarities or put some names to the picture. I only know them as snails or crabs w/ blue or red legs

Don't know if this idea makes sense, but how about underwater shots. If anyone has underwater housings for there cameras or use a piece of glass to get a shot form above. Most shots are from the sides or front this will be something different.
