What is everyone using for reflectors?
I here alot of people are using HD Flashing.
But test show that your better off using white reflector than HD Flashing.

i too have heard of people lining the undersides of their wood canopies with formica...white formica to be more specific, and the bounce is more natural...

Polished Stainless Steel. I think formica is good for the inside of a canopy. I would think it would prevent condensation from forming on the interior and creating mold.

actually mylar is used in many hot houses in the floral and nursery business thats how I found out about it. You can purchase mylar in different thicknesses, check out some of the sites dedicated to those businesses.

at home depot they sell these containers in galv steel, plastic and stainless. They are usually near the nails and screws, I think they are for holding screws. The stainless steel is about $6 and if you cut the ends off with a dremel and spread out a little they are the same angle as the expensive reflectors you get with halides. They are about 8 inches long.

I'm using reflective (mirrored) vinyl. Very cheap, very flexible, very reflective. I don't know what the temp range is, but the lady that sold it to me says they use it in lit signs all the time, and it's working with mine, so it's good for NO up to VHO for sure.. I paid $25 for 7 feet at 15" wide.
