HOw fast turbo snails multiply?

I had one for like a year, and when it was feeding time, a smaller snail popped out of now where, it looked like a baby turbo snail...

Do they reproduce asexually? i have all sorts or weird things popping out.
If so, is that a bad thing? im fairly new w/ saltwater, but I know in ponds and freshwater fish, those pesty snails multiply and clog my filter...

They don't reproduce asexually, so it's probably a hitchhiker.

do you know how many hatchlings or whatever, are there?

There's this white spot which spikes up in the middle and supports a white string/ like thread, those aren't baby snails huh...

it's been a long time since i took Inverts 101 but, what are those pests called that sting you coral?

Are they hydroids? i can't find quality photos of the different stages they go through...
