Ok..dont even ask for a pick as i can JUST about make these guys out .They consist of very small clearish jelly like sacs approx 3 to 5mm in size. The odd thing is they release/reel out filaments that are identical to the stinging tentacles of ctenophera spp. However these guys (now 3 of them) are attached to the algae. They appear to have moved once or twice. My fish are in QT at moment so i am debating as to how powewrful the stingers are.If they are like ctenophera then only the plankton need fear, and the very 'fine' nature of the"nets" suggests they might be. Anyone ever seen this?? I really do hate destroying critters unless they are really destructive!!

Ok the things dont move theres just more than I thought. I've done a CRUDE!!! drawing, the one on the left is when its feeding, it appears be horseshoe shape when pulling in the tentacles. Then closes up until they are reeled back out. The image on the right is closed.

Hi..unfortunately not, although i have seen flatworms wandering around. These critters have long (8 to 15 cm) feeding tentacles also they are typically jelly like. I am 70% certain they are a member of the cnidaria family.
