I have noticed that my live rock is losing its green and purple coraline algea on top. Its not bleaching but its also not its original colorfull self either. The only thing i can think of is that maybe the high current is knocking it off so to speak. Anyone else have this problem?

I had a small grey problem it grew back over time like 1 month, would not worry flow should increase algae

Coraline algea mainly grows from higher calcium levels, usually 450ppm or higher. What are your current calcium levels in the tank? They might be dropping, therefor coraline is dying.

Is this rock new to your tank?
Have you recently upgraded lighting?
Have you checked your calcium levels as was mentioned above?
New live rock could go thru a shock phase where the coraline is getting accusotmed to the new lights. Same if you recently upgraded your lighting or you chenged bulbs.
When I meant from NO to MH a lot of grey over rocks did u get a light upgrade
