first off...species vary so much, it's very hard to tell them all apart. in a discussion with eric borneman, he emphasized that sometimes we have to be happy with just getting the family, and genus names down rather than get all the way down to the species taxonomy. he jokingly says that he has a goniopora sp. leaving the family name at "spuh."

"i have a acropora "spuh"..."
"i have a alveopora "spuh"..."
"i have a clavularia "spuh"..."

that being said, there are several species which are commonly imported, and we actually know the species.

your species in question bears resemblance to tubipora commonly pipe-organ coral. informally clove, green star, pipe-organs are all very similar. all have the same characteristics...they all require moderately high to very high lighting, can be fairly aggressive, with fair to moderate flow needs, and all are fairly hardy.

i know it's not the best answer or the one you were looking for, but i hope it helps in some way...
