1) Photos must pertain to the selected monthly topics. They must be submitted by no later than the 21st of the month.
2) Photos must be taken from your camera, i.e. original photos. No copyrighted work that does not belong to you may be submitted. The photos DO NOT have to be from your tank, but they DO need to be taken by YOU or from YOUR camera.
3) The original photo (with camera and file properties) must be uploaded on your own gallery account at www.reeflounge.net/gallery. Registration is free! This is for proof that the photo is an original photo. If the photo has been postprocessed, the post processed image can be submitted for entry, but the original must be submitted for authentication. The post processed version may be linked from your own hosting source, but the original photo MUST BE UPLOADED ON www.reeflounge.net/gallery
4) While constructive criticism is fine, "bashing" or negatively critiquing any entrant's submissions will not be tollerated. This is for fun! :)
5) Polls for voting will open every 22nd day of the month, will close on the last evening of the month at 12:00 am PST. The winner will be anounced by the 5th of the following month. The winner will recieve a prize which also will be shipped out to the winner by the 5th of the following month.
6) Monthly prizes will vary, as they are donated from vendors that support ReefLounge.com.
7) Staff of www.ReefLounge.com will not be eligible for prizes, but are encouraged to post "inspirational" photos. These images will not be eligible to be voted on.
The judging will comprise of:
1) Members Votes = 50%
2) Moderators Votes = 40%
3) Admin Vote = 10%
