anyone have success pairing thier shrimp w/o buying them as a pair? i have a coral banded shrimp and he is done aclimating to the tank so he is out and about a little bit, but i want him to be more active. finding a mate would give him more activity so how do i go along doing this? is there any way to tell if my shrimp is a male or female?

I have never done this but was told that the CBS that have some blue coloring on the base around its legs are the females. Someone here should be able to confirm this and then you will at least know you dont have 2 of the same sex... Good luck!
