on one of my rocks there is a creature about the size of a nickel or a quarter..
It is yellowish orange with radial ridges and is mobile although I have not observed it moving. It is in a different spot all the time.
It appears to have a hole in the center of it. but I am not sure.
Is it some sort of limpet?
I have a digital camera but am still figuring out the loda pictures part of this deal.

I think it is a flatworm. it has grown has no discernible shell and a single hole in the top of it.
No pictures yet.

It is probably a fleshy limpet, wich is a keyhole limpet. that would explain the hole you described. they have a mantle that extends around the shell.

that is a nice pic of a keyhole limpet. I have one on one of my rocks. I have heard they usually don't live long but I've read that they can live for up to 20 years on the same rock.

Well I cant take credit for the pic. I just have a growing file of hitchiker photos from the web. they are cool though, they look like walking mushrooms
