This is a great series of classes in Southern California focusing on everything aquaria.
This semester classes include
MST 10 - INTRODUCTION TO AQUACULTURE (http://www1.socccd.cc.ca.us/eservices/ClassDetail.asp?sectionID=11020&termid=20063)
MST 100 - AQUARIUM SYSTEMS (http://www1.socccd.cc.ca.us/eservices/ClassDetail.asp?sectionID=21940&termid=20063)
MST 205 - WATER QUALITY AND TOXICITY OF CAPTIVE AQUATIC SYSTEMS (http://www1.socccd.cc.ca.us/eservices/ClassDetail.asp?sectionID=14510&termid=20063)

These are great classes for beginners, but also have a ton of info for the advanced aquarist. I have personally taken the 100 class and we got to set up an aquarium as a semester long project. We also got a backstage tour of the Aquarium of the Pacific. Another perk is you get college credit. High School students can take the night classes too.
This semester I am taking MST 10 and 205, hope to see you there.
