You must set the ad_network_ads_240.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

I would love to have my LR covered in purple and beneficial algae. I have a FO system. Do I need to maintain proper calcium levels and what should I add to the water to encourage good algae growth?

i used kent marine essential elements, and that turned my rock purple, i love it!

Cool! I have been using Essential Elements and Calcium+3 for about 2 months. I have some purple but not alot. How long did yours take?

It takes awhile for the aglae spores to spread. Good calcium and water movement can help promote algae growth.

I've been using Reef Vital DNA, and my LR has all kinks of colors on it, purple, red, pink, green. Check out the link:

Very cool! I am gonna get a bottle. About how long before I will see some results? I assume it is o.k. with FOWLR. Do I still need to add trace elements and calcium?

keep dosing your tank as usual and just add the Vital Reef. My Rocks bleached out when i first added them to the tank, they were almost pure white. a week later i started adding the Vital Reef (Once a day), and was able to see colors in about 3 days. Good luck.
