About a month ago I saw a Baby Starfish In my tank. It moved to fast for me to be able to take a picture. I finally got a picture of it. I am not sure if my Orange Linkia and my Blue Linkia mated. I have not put any Live Rock in the tank in over a year, so I don't think it is a hitchiker. Do you think it is an offspring of my other Starfish?

yes, a pic is needed. It could be a mini brittle star or an asternia...hard to say with our a pic.

most likely it was too big you can try to resize it or go to photobucket and download them on there then pst them from photobucket to here. that is one way to do it

That is an Asternia. They multiply very quickly, more than likely came in with live rick or a coral. They are reported to eat coral and polyps so I would remove it and any others that you see.

I've got them. I just keep an eye out. I've only seen them eating coralline. You can see the spot's left by them. They eat really slow because they have to puke their stomach out to feed so they just sit there for a while and then move over a bit and do the same thing. The one's I've seen pic's of that were eating corals were asymetrical and had a very mottled coloring, though color is meaningless.

Yeah,
I just found out the hard way about them. I have read both good and bad things about asternia. Some stuff said they were harmless some said they eat coral. I haven't had anything but gorgonians, anemones and softies that have been thriving. I also have quite a population of asternia and things have been ok. About 3 weeks ago I decided to try out an sps. I bought two frags of montipora digitata and they've been doing great. Wondeful polyp extension, no color loss. I've checked two days ago and there were asternia all over them.
Now they're pretty much gone....I'm tempted to get some Harlequin shrimp and set them loose.....
