i am thinking of slowy putting together a 90 gal or so. i am thinking of buying everything seperatly to customize it. I have 46 reef all put together, but it limits my space. Do i need a sump? What kind of filters should i get.(corner overflow, skimmer, or bio filter). I can handle the lighting, rock and sand, but the filter system, sump and refium i am confused with. Please direct me. thankyou.

What type of setup are you looking for ?

Reef only with coral, Reef and Fish with coral, Fish only?

If you tell us what you main goal will be for the tank setup we will be able to help you with your selection of equipment.

thanks matrixnyc, im really not a guest, just forgot to sign in. Im looking for a 75- 90 with fish and corals. I have a yellow tang in my 46 which would probably go in there as well as others (maybe some angels), and id like a bunch of corals(bubble, frogspawn, maybe toadstool) . I have looked at a buch of sites, and i like the dimension 48x18x20, a75 gallon tank. AGA and acrylic have that tank with a corner over flow built in that goes into a sump. I like that idea, but i dont know if it is good. Should i buy a package deal, what biofilter, or protein skimmer?

Pete_Ra,
I'm looking at a 90 gallon setup as well. The problem that I've found with most package deals is they come with a wet/dry filter, and I would prefer a sump/refugium. The tank, stand, canopy combo seems like a good place to start.

hi, goggles, thats cool. On tropicalfishstore.com they have package deals including a sump. theyre corner overflows look awsome. Maybe ill buy the tank, plumbing and sump and ill work from there, do you know what u want it?
