For the $15 factory made grounds, why risk your life?

Believe me I am not condeming you, but that is the only time I have ever heard of do it yourself grounding plugs. I just don't want to see any reefers shocked for $15 is all. No if they were $500.00 and you were gonna personally test them all, I would give you $50 lol.

Best of luck, Rob 8)

I know lots of people who have made their own ground probes. Very easy to make and very cheap. As for its life in salt water, just start with a titanium bike spoke from your local push bike shop. Crimp on some electrical wire and maybe an eyelet to the other end. Then attach to a ground point.
Easy cheap and works just as well as a bought one.
Cheers,
Viking.

it must be made out of PURE Titanium. A piece of Titanium stock would probably cost more then 15.00. but I could be wrong.

They have a plan there. I hate sending someone from the comfy confines of this board, but I didn't look at the plan.
