This is my 55 Gallon and it's been up for about 3 Weeks. I am new to this so I could use some help. I have about 40lbs of live rock purchase from a few different places. I ordered 25 lbs from http://www.reeferrocks.com/ This rock is awesome!! I put in two domino Damsels about 10 days after starting and they are doing fine.

I have an emperor 280 and a heater and 2 50/50 20 watts.

I have on order a aquaC Remora Pro

Want List:
Hagen fluval 404
Compact Floresent 4 65 wat

I plan on adding more fish in a couple of weeks when the tank is cycled.
More rock also, When I get some more money.

What do you think? Am I going in the right direction?
Thanks in advance for the help.

nice rock dude!!! thats really nice. I might upgrade to a size like that, good size. I would wait on your fish though. Damsels are fine, they are very hardy, but you dont want to make a mistake and have a fish die. (i have before) My advice is to get everything set up filters, lighting etc. and run it for a while. The damels and rock help. it looks from your lighting that you are going to add corals, so wait for your tank to get stable. oh yeah, where is the intake strainer on your filter? Your tank looks like it is going to be sweet! What fish do you want? Post your tank pics in a month or so.

Thanks for the comment.
The intake strainer! I took it off to clean before it took the picture but forgot to put it back on.

Very nice rocks!

I would re think the damsels. For the most part, they're extremely aggressive towards other fish, and may possibly kill your future fish inhabitants from aggression. If these are your 'cylcing' fish, I would get them out and find another home for it. If these are not, be cautious about their aggression :)

Very clean tank

Looks like you worked hard.

Will you keep corals?
