I have one littlle piece of something that looks like hammer coral it is all the way in the back of my tank under my live rock and about 1/4 of an inch. My tank has been up for a month any info and a pic would help.

If you wanted a mild guess, I would have to say it resembls a frogspawn :)

A very sick frogspawn that isn't getting proper light or is suffering from other unappropriate conditions.

O it came with the rock I didnt now what it could be can I move or should I just leave it alone? That is really the least of my worries I have aiptaisa I think poppong up I have like 5 bout the size that bump very small im thinking of getting a peppermint shrimp. You guys think that would work?

I personally wouldn't move it, not unless it's showing some real kinds of stress issues.

Remember, the frogspawn was just a mild guess. Please do not take that answer as a fact :-D

The bump has moved an inch since my post. It is now closer the the left edge of the pic. It moving to the top of the rock closer to the light.

I say it's a frogspawn that is bleeching out, and is moving to better satisfy itsself. About 90% of peppers will eat aptasia so get 2 and your good to go.

I have never known a frogspawn to move. They have a skeleton not a foot. If it has moved I would say it is a bubble tip anemone of some type.

I bought a peepermint shrimp and now I have bout 4 apastias left. I will post pics later on when my tank matures and I discover what this thing turns into. Thanks for all the helpful info. I usually read all pinapple and watchmans posts. you all seem to answer all my questions b 4 I even have to ask.
