You must set the ad_network_ads_240.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

I beleive he is using Actics+ , Like me .... which are blue not purple...

well that would make sense then... lol, but even on my tank with purple actinics when i take a photo of the tank and actinics are on it comes out blue... is this normal?

Exactly, I don't like the look of the purple actinic's. The Actinic + is just blue. These pic's don't really do them justice. I have the EV setting as low as it goes, otherwise all you see is bright blue. Problem is it greatly reduces the fluorescent glow from the coral's.

interesting, i didn't know there was such thing as blue actinics... too bad on the reduced glow though, i love the glow in the tank with actinics, espcially those candy canes and favia

It's just in the pic's, not in the tank. The camera can't get a pic without lowering the light level's all the way, so the pic's don't look anything like what you're eye would see.

what candy canes ?

ohhhh ok... lol, and my candy cane's that fluoresce under actinic lighting
