Green Star Polyps?
You need to know the name and care of the coral, always before you buy it. Without the name, no one could give you an accurate answer.
My answer would be to give it a few weeks, should open up then.

as with most any coral...it could take hours, days, or even weeks for them to become fully adjusted to the new water conditions when moved from one tank to another...
if they are indeed green star polyps, it can typically take a week's time to open normally...
i bought some a few months ago at a local CMAS frag swap, and they opened up with in a few hours, which can only lead me to believe that the gentleman i got them from has near the same tank conditions...

I feel like I missed a joke.... what are sun polyps?
I'm probably woefully misinformed...

I persoanlly don't get the joke, but anyway,
The proper name for them would be Tubestrea Coral Polyps. They're a nonphotosynthic coral, therefor, it does not have any zooxanthellae. They require heavy feedings of planktonic larvae and the majoraty of polyps only open during night or when feeding.
