Overflow box noise

Ok, project is almost done, overflow is installed, all of it has been tweaked perfectly, question now is how can we get rid of all the noise that the damn overflow is making?

You could construct a stand pipe inside the overflow box.

Or you could slowly lower some airline tubeing down the drain till the noise stops.

This airline tubing in effect allows the overflow to breath vs constaly making the sucking air noise.

to go along with the stand pipe idea...if you put two 90° elbows on the top of your standpipe so the the water induct is actually underwater, this makes it substantially quieter...
