Last night I was watching my tank, and one of my scarlet hermit's climbed to the top of one of my coral's, so I grabbed it and threw it into my ten gallon, sat down and started watching that tank. The crab climbed riight up to the top of the rock's, and started releasing it's clutch of fry, hundred's of them. They look like mysid shrimp. Who know's if any will survive, but the chances are alot better in the ten because there are no fish in there. I may have to go to the beach, and get some really small shell's. LOL

Its always cool to watch something like that, but it is next to impossible to raise crab fry in a closed system. :)

I hear ya on the survivability. One can only hope.
This is the tank that is set up for my mandarin, hopefully they will continue with this behavior. I think the fish will like it.
Here is about the best pic I can get, they move around fast.
about 12 hrs old.

I was planning on doing a 70% WC on this tank today. I'm not sure if I should do it or not now.
