I'm looking for Southdown Play Sand... and Texas HDs only carry ugly Sakrete sand (which probably is bad for saltwater!)
where can I find this via mail order or some other measure??
Thanks,
dangermon

Look at this website:
http://www.purearagonite.com/
From what I understand, this is what Southdown is. I happened to find someone who was selling a couple bags of Southdown in the area (I'm in Richardson), but it was by chance through ReefCentral.com. Anyway, someone from ReefCentral pointed folks to the above mentioned site and said that the stuff is great. Of course shipping might be a little expensive, but you can give them a call and find out for sure. It might be worth finding a few people in the area who would want to make a group order with you. It's worth checking out....
Hope this helps! :)

Another alternative is get with other reefers in your area (or your local reef club) and order a whole pallet from Home Depot. They will ship it in from another store with advance payment. Comes out to around $12 a bag. That's what we did up here in Colorado. Everybody got some!
