If anyone is wondering how to build an automated level controller, here is what I did. I use the ball valve portion for filling up my water changing tank, or for anything else that I would need ro/di water for. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I looking to setup something simialiar.
I notice there no water tank,Is there a reason you did not go with a water tank?
What is the DIY water changer?
Can you explain the how the setup will work?

I have my ro unit plumbed directly into my house, this eleminates the need for the water container. When the system needs water, the solenoid energizes and opens the port so the ro/di can produce the water. I am working on the water changer... Ill post the project when I get all of the bugs worked out.

Sounds great my setup is similiar with the use of a stainless steel solenoid a 40gal Water storage tank , and a kalkwasser reactor.

The solenoid is Normally Closed, and will handle up to 250psi.

You really don't need that much if you use a Auto Shut-off Unit on the RO unit with backflow preventor. But it can't hurt.
