If you are worried about cost....order a SeaClone from www.petwarehouse.com they have them for 59.99 and they are a better skimmer than that, but they both are fairly bad, but then again how can you compare a $60 dollar skimmer to a $200 dollar skimmer. They do more than 1/4 of what the $200 dollar skimmer does and therefore in my opinion they are cost affective....In other words four seaclones which would be about the price of one decent $200 dollar one would probably work better......but then again you don't need that much filtration
