i just got this small green star polyp. I figured I would share it with you, tell me what ya think!
They look great, give them time and they'll start spreading like weeds!

Good start. Just make sure you put them somewhere where you want something to cover. They will grow quickly and take over an area you may not want them.

well, right now all i have is that piece of green star polyps, and a small piece of tonga branch with about 8 button polyps on it. Will i have any problems with these two corals fighting or trying to kill each other? The plan was to have them both spread onto all the other rocks, i like the way they look :D How long does it take for them to start spreading? they've been in there for a little under a week, i've been adding calcium, iodine, strontium and molybdenum, per the instructions on the bottles. I try to add the calcium everyday, but just a little each time. I am using kent products except for the calcium, which is tropic-marine bio-calcium.

Only problems I've had with my gsp's is with a torch coral or branching hammer touching it when fully expanded. The gsp's that have been touched retract and if you move the coral will come back in about 4 or 5 days. So far no deaths have occurred, and it's been a little bit of a learning experience.
