Hi
I have a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft with 4 (white) T5's ....
they are very very bright when you open the lid (you can hardly look at them)
but when you close the lid the water seems very yellow...
could anybody suggest why this is ....
many thanks
Stephen

the highest kelvin rating i could find for a T5 lamp was 4,100k...although i've heard that GE makes a 6,700k bulb...
that being the case, 4-6k is in the "yellow" or "warm" spectrum of light...hence the yellowish appearance, i'd reccommend the addition of a actinic bulb to balance the look...but have yet to find a T5 actinic bulb...
i'd suggest adding at least a 24w PC retrofit with a true 03 actinic bulb with a kelvin rating of at least 7,000k to the current lighting.

Haha..well speaking of.. One night, I was really tired, so I would climb up one step..and fall asleep..wake up,go up another, and fall alseep..well, that night, I went sleep walking...walked in the bathroom, and peed in the bathtub. I didn't remember doing it. Since it has to do with corals and all
