Ok you guys are going to that I am nuts but my brittle star is pulling my turbo snails of the glass and trying very hard to eat them just feed this guy a nice piece of squid and he ate it in less then a min.. like he hasnt eaten in a year.. hes been in my tank for 3 days and has knocked off(killed) 2 turbo snails I saw him knock one off the glass and try real hard to get a tenical in him.. Is this the norm or did the LFS not feed the guy and hes going on a murders rampage ?

Brittle stars are opportunistic and meat eaters, and will feed whenever "food" is available. Some kinds are supposed to be less aggressive than others, but if I were you I would take it right back to the LFS.

Yes, Brittle stars are opportunistic and meat eaters.
they can and have eaten several of my small fish.
