:?: Hello all I am new to this forum , although I read it all the time. I just bought an R/O system and I want to connect it under the sink. However the plumbing in the house is high pressure hose, and not pipe, therefore the saddle valve can,t be attached to it because it has to much give,i.e flexability.I did buy a faucet connector for it . Do you think this will be ok? Or should I replumb the sink? Its a 5 stage filter 100 gpd. with DI.Im going to store the water in a 50 gal. trash can with wheels. Any help or ideas would be great . thanks Jeff :D

The best way to do this depends on if you what to make it a perminent connection or no.

Sounds like you do. Take a look at the inline connector. If the tubing your house is plumbed in has threads this will work well for you. Let me know what size the tubing is and I can make more suggestions.

The only threads I can find are at the faucet. The rest are compression clamps at tees and valves. The hose looks to be less than a half inch. Im going to use the faucet connector for now, But would like to hook it up permanately later Thanks for the help!

I think I know the type of pipes you are talking about. I will see if I can find something that will work for you.
