no...should be fine, but how did they die? i would give the tank a while to let the ammonia, and nitrates come down...(if they haven't already.)

you have ich...
it is not ok, to put more fish in...
you're down to one last fish right? and this is in your eclipse 2, right?
my suggestion would be to take the whole tank into hypo-salinity. if your little clown makes it, this needs to be done slowly...take out a few cup fulls of water and replace with straight RO water...no salt. do a few cups an hour. bring your salinty all the way down to 1.018 for starters...but no lower than 1.015. this should eradicate the irritans. leave the light off for two days cycle. and check your clown for any white spots.
anyone alse care to chime in?

Your live rock is ok! I think that you needed to cycle your tank longer and let it get more established before you added fish. I would try and start your tank over without sacrificing all of the live rock. You will have to be patient and let is cycle all over again, but don't add fish for a little while. Also make sure that your temperature is suitable for a reef environment like between 76 and 79 degrees. Use your own preference but stay within those degrees. Anything lower has been known to help cause ich.
Good luck,

ok...
i gave bad advice...i assumed that it was only LR and a clown fish. i had no idea an anemone and inverts were involved...hyposalinity is not an option!!!
nor is copper...a q-tank is needed to treat the clown for ich.

I agree the q-tank and copper are the best option, but hyposallinity is perfectly fine for a reef tank, with inverts. You need to buffer the tank, much more to maintain CA, PH and ALK, but if those are maintained, the lowered slinity (over a few weeks) will not harm the inverts. The problem with hyposalinity in a reef, is the shock to the inverts of the falling alk and ph. Also, in a hyposalinity treatment, the water should be dropped to an SG of approx, 1.017 in a short period of time, over the course of a few hours. It must be maintained for about 3 weeks and then brought back up...slowly, over the course of another week.
Another option that wasn't mentioned was treating the fishes food with garlic, I've never tried it, but everyone I know that has done it, swears by it. fishfreek is one that I know uses this treatment.

I have found running your tank at 80 to 84 degrees is also a great way to help in the treatment of ick. It also is a great preventative for the future. Ick has a very hard time living in water above 80 degrees.

Just want to add in somehting.
Do not by any tang of any sort for that tank! They will easily outgrow it, and most need a tank over 75 gallons to live a healthy life. Skip on the tangs. Stick to smaller sized fish; clowns, damsels, bassets, blennys, gobies, etc.

'Have' a store, as in own it?...nope :( But, I can recommend some to you (I see you're also in cali...right on!). Have you ever been to Jeffs Exotic fish over in Orange County? Great store, great corals, great service, all for a great price. See www.exoticfish.com for more information about their store. I have heard that they aren't the best online, as far as placing orders goes. The Marine Depot live store I think is also somewhere around here, same with Reef Fanatic :)

you cold use shock treatment, it is very hard on the fish but he will live just get some plain water( filtered but no salt) and put the fish in it, leave him in for about 30 sec at a time(be carefull too long and he is dead) your fish will also go into shock dont worry he wont be dead he just wont move arround, You should do this twice a day for a week or so, the treatment will kill the ich. It will be very hard on fish, I dont think you can do this to you coral though, Dont try this without asking somebody smarter than me first. (I only used this once it saved four fish, a blue tang, two clowns, and a damsel but they didnt have bad ich just a little. I also cleaned my sand and changed all my water, sometimes starting over will also shock the coral and no ich will prob live through it (all new water is a big measure but it will help alot)
