this is a quick example of how Photoshop can really help in the digital imaging process...i did this in about 5-7 minutes...
the digital camera used always leaves a date block in the upper right hand corner...also, i took out the power wires, and took out the tourists...
this is the castle of Chillion, a fortress castle on Lake Geneva...

Sorry...thought this was gonna be an informative thread, didn't realize it was an advertisment for work.
Edited to remove unnecessary info, that didn't fit in the thread.

LOL. I had photoshop, but when I installed Windows XP it erased all of my programs. It was the business edition of photoshop too :(. That really is a nice job. I also saw the photo that you took the glare out of for fiji. Makes me wish I had a nice enough camera to bother with photoshop.

no...this is in no way meant to be an advertisement...
i was just posting what PS 7.0 was capable of...
i'd love sharing tips for using Photoshop!
the majority of this picture was done by cloning, or using the "band-aid" repair function. to clone (stamp) you press the "Alt" button and click an area you wish to clone. in this case i cloned an area of like lighting and color near the powerlines, and stamped over the top of the powerline creating a similar backround for the image to blend with. diffusing the band aid back over some rough work nicely blends the image with threaded stamps.
as far as auto levels are concerned, it heads or tails...sometimes i like the auto levels it creates, and other times, i don't care for the end product the program comes up with.
if anyone ever needs any tips, let me know...i'd be happy to help explain shortcuts! :D

I would agree that photoshop is capable of worlds more. But u forgot to fix the column of the tower ;)
"edit: U can take the castle out of the picture and insert any scenery since nobody knows what the topography looks like behind it :D "
