well it started as a simple 7gal bow with a 32w pc upgrade. and like all things i start i can't just leave them simple i gotta keep messin and upgrading stuff till i get tired of it. anyways heres the specs
started in an eclipse 6 on 5-02 went into the minibow in 8-02.
Tank: 7gal mini bow AGA
Refugium: 5gal custom made to my specs by Christian at Skylab, jalli 13w pc www.wetdryfilter.com
Lighting: 3x32w pendant on 2 seperate ballast for dawn to dusk controlls, pendant custom made for me by Bruce from www.petsupplyliquidator.com
Top off: auto float valve with eheim1250 pump
Liverock: i have no idea how much is in there as all peices have corals attached so it was a bit hard to tell, i'd say between 7-10lbs
Substrate: black calcite 3" sand bed
Livestock: 23 differant color morphs of zoanthids. 4-5 colors mushrooms, starpolyps, neon green leather, few acros' and my little collection of montiporas
Fish: lawnmower "bastard" blennie- dude bites me when i stick my hand in the tank!
the fuge is run by a maxijet 600 inside the fuge like a powerfilter so it doesn't take up space in the main tank, i have 15lbs of sand in the fuge makes about a 6-7" sandbed.
the tanks very easy to maintain, i dose Kents tech CB everyday and do a 3gal waterchange once a week(or i try to anyway)!

It looks halide to me. Can't someone just tell me? Can halide come in 32w?

No. It is PC (power compact), and I've never heard of 32W...did you mean 36W? Or has there been alot of variety added to the PC bulbs? The tank is awesome!! I just love the montis!! I never thought of glueing my M.cap to the tank....my wifes ticked, I just told her I got room for more corals

Whoops. I missed the first line where it says PC. It looks like halide though.

That definitely looks bigger than a 7 gallon. I never knew that polyps could be so exciting :D. Very inspiring.

I really like the zoo's. Did you get them online? If so, where?

As a noobie to this hobby, I am wondering about the small tank on the back of your 7gal. what is it, and why? I am considering getting a 7.4g AZOO based on what I am reading here in the VERY HELPFUL forum you guys have built. I am doing a ton of research before I buy and was just caught off guard with that little take thingy.

poisonberry, It is called a refugium, or refuge. By using live rock and macro algae in it, it acts as a biological filter. It also extends the capacity of the water to make mistakes less crucial.

Also, how many of those organisms were "planted" and how many were from the living rock and sand? I am trying to gauge what I need to buy to achieve such success and what will come with time by letting the rock work.

I was thinking about starting a nano like yours only 1 gallon but my mom took it for a Betta tank. Anyways great job with the placement of corals.

Happy Reefing!!!
