Do you think that it is worth the effort and truly beneficial? Check this reactor out, I think that it is a pretty cool item that I am offering up on an auction!!!

I feed it quite often. I think it's also stimulating other forms of life (tube worms, rock-boring clams, etc) which are feeding off this, reproducing, and producing zooplankton.
PH =)
i ALSO feed mine as well, how do you guys do it, do you just pour into tank or direct feed? I am sure you shut you skimmer right?

Most phytoplankton is in such small particles, that usually not even the skimmer can pick it up. I just heavily blast some corals (gorgonian also), with it 3x weekly, seems to spread throughout the tank though.

most things i direct feed...although from time to tim i pour a little DT's in for all tank consumption...
i direct feed my clams by putting a half cut 2 liter bottle over the top of them and inject DT's and a mixtue of some ground srimp and oysters.
