dont mix chocolatchip star and clam

everyone always told me to get rid of my chocolate chip star and i never listened because the starfish has never hurt anything in my tank for the six months i have had him. until the other night he waited until i fell asleep and snuck over and attaked my beatifull T. Maxima CLAM!!

the clam is now gone :cry:

$5 starfish killed $80 clam- please even if you think you starfish is nicer than others....... its not! if you have corals or clams get rid of you chocolate chip starfish if you got one. it would be better off in a fish only tank.

Sorry for your loss. its never good to lose any of our critters like that. thank you for posting about it though. maybe somebody else will read this post and save theirs before it happens. unfortunately, most of us learn the hard way. myself included. thank you again, and sorry for the loss of your clam. :(

I am also sorry the clam is dead. Although starfish look cool, most cannot be trusted in a reef
