I have a hermit that likes to change shells everyday. No offense but it reminds of a woman going out to dinner, just can't make up it's mind what it wants to wear. :P

Is there a suitable size though? Maybe its just indecisive because none of them fit?

Well, one is the shell he was bought with, it was too big then, and too big now. The other has the same size opening, but a different type. I just find it amusing that it does that.

It may look amusing I agree but hopefully its not a sign of stress. Thats how my last hermit died. :(

In his defense though, fugly might be right. It would suck to lose an animal when you could just pick up some more shells for him.

Oh, he has plenty of shells. That wasn't a concern.

I bought two bags full of shells (for $2) at an outlet in Burlington, NC. when I was there working. I went through the bags and found the more appropiate ones that the two crabs could use. In fact now it has given up the other two shells and found him one that he is staying with.
