You must set the ad_network_ads_240.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

Hey. Okay,I have heard that adding red and blue tint lights along with white is the closest way to mimick sunlight.is it true?

Closest way to mimic sun light is to have a 5k a 10k and a true actnic. I think.

It isn't always true that you need to have a suppliment of actinics to make the tank look more natural. I am using 800wts of Metal Halides, with no suppliments, yet the tank has a crisp white color. There are some lights that have 'both' spectrums in it. For Halides, this is called 'Radiums,' which is a 20k light. Others use the 6500k along with a "03" actinic, or any other high kelven rating bulb to even out the colors.

I try to keep the red out of my tank. I have 10k and .03's on my tank. The blue spectrum is stronger and goes deeper than the red spectum light. The blue wavelength benifits corals more! There are corals that grow where red light cant go. Deep water reefs! Personally I think that the actinic .03's make the corals colors glow!
