Website that ships to Hawaii??

Does anyone know of a GOOD website that will ship corals and anemones to Hawaii? On all the major sites (Liveaquaria.com, etc.) it says that they do not ship here.

On Oahu, we only have 2 LFS that sell marine aquarium supplies...only one sells anemones VERY rarely...as I have seen only once in the past year.

it's pretty hard to get corals into hawaii because they are worried that people will put them in the reef and they will take over and choke out the native corals. i know if someone introduced starpolyps that it would probably do some devestation. my friend melissa that lives there said what corals she can get in have to be registered. have you asked the pet store why they dont get corals?

Corals and anemones cannot LEGALLY be sold from shops here in Hawaii (although like I said, they sometimes do)...but according to the Department of Land and Natural Resources and the Department of Agriculture, corals and anemones CAN be shipped into Hawaii.

i dont really know of any. i know when i ship fish over it takes around 30 hours to get them to portland. try finding a place on the west coast. alot ofthe mail order stores are more eastern.

Reeftopia says only ships to continental US locations. I guess I am just destined to not have any coral or anemones :cry:

e-mail or p.m. me i have a wholesaler that might sell to you, and ship to hawaii. he has a out fit in hawaii and brings stuff in from the mrashalls all the time

www.marinedepot.com is in SoCal, they might. They are very helpful. Give them a call and see. Also www.IPSF.com is in Hawaii, but I don't know if they sell corals. They may know how to get them, though.
