That is one great looking tank :)

You said you recently setup this tank, wondering how long it took to get it to the level it is at now.

Also what was the cost, estimated :)

Wait till that grouper starts trying to swallow your fish until he's big enough to accually swallow them...I'm guessing you will pull him out before that, right?

Thanx anyway for ya comment but i am going to remove the panther grouper when it gets too large. Anyway my angels do not bother corals. I took a few week to do that tank and the photo are not updated yet. so i will keep you guys update. Anyway that not crush coral sand but a new kind or element sand that is quite good and it is uesd effectively in the tank. It can remove ammonia creat a better condition for fish.

I cannot beleive that the tank if only 1 month old! Seems like your rushing here, you already have a growing Goniopora spp. in your tank. I say slow down a bit, take time with things :) But, it's really a nice looking tank none the less! I really like your rockwork.

Thank you for your comment anyway the corals are doing fine under metal halide and chiller. Even so some of the corals like xenia already spawn and some of my mushroom spawn too covering most of my rockwork

unicornis, can you post a picture of your Tank, Stand and hood?

I was looking for a large tank, and would love to see a full shot of yours to get an idea of how to setup my tank.

Just goes to show you what a good ammount of cash and some effort can acomplish, as I see it everything is under control just never add a cuke, you wouldn't want to kill everything one day.........

That is one nice looking tank Unicornis. I especially like your lights. What kind of a hood is that? Another question I had was about your skimmer. Is that skimmer strong enough to to clean a 215 gal tank? I have a Prizm skimmer too, but my tank is only a 40 gal. Just curious...

I think that some cukes would be okay, especially in a tank of that size. Even if one went nuclear I don't think it would spoil the whole tank.

It depends what cucumber it is. Some hardly have any poisons, while others can easily whip out a tank of that size, such as the deadly Sea Apple.

my prizm skimmer has no prob in cleaning the tank anyway but i get stuck very easily cos it is rather good anyway i used an ozonizer too to disinfect the tank and also to reduce ammonia
